Good day for Helston RFC U13’s
On 9th March the U13’s travelled to Liskeard looking to reverse last weeks cup defeat. Liskeard have a gargantuan pack and the plan was to make the big lads toil in the sun.

We started well with a quickly taken 22 nudged over the line and the stand off picked up and raced away to score under the posts. That set the tone for the first half with 2 further long distance tries for Helston. Half time score was 19 - 12 to Helston. Liskeard had the bulk of the ball but our defence was heroic. We actually held them up over our line 7 times.

The second half went much the same way with two more tries apiece.

Final score Helston 33 - 22 liskeard Looe.

Strong play by all. Well worth the journey.
